An 88-meter-high ferris wheel is set to open in time for National Day holiday tourists in Baotou, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, according to local media reports.
The ferris wheel, located in Baotou Amusement Park, is equipped with a total of 48 pods. Each pod can accommodate six people, meaning it can accommodate 288 sightseers in total at the same time.
During the 15-minute journey, as the pods gradually rise, tourists can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Baotou city from different angles.
The ferris wheel is 88 meters in height. When it rotates to the highest point, the distance from the ground is about 100 meters, equivalent to the height of a 30-storey building. [Photo/baotounews.com.cn]

Ticket price: 10 yuan ($1.47). The ticket package for adults is 75 yuan and the ticket package for children is 50 yuan (a total of eight entertainment items included).
