The first distribution network dispatch center of Inner Mongolia Power Group was completed and put into operation in Baotou, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Oct 11, according to Baotou Daily.

The newly-built distribution network dispatch center is based on data fusion, statistics and analysis technology, and makes full use of graphic display technology.

It can fully investigate the power supply characteristics of the regional power grid, and includes a data processing module, a graphic display platform, and an integrated power flow diagram showing grid monitoring, warnings and early warnings.

In the event of a power failure, the system can accurately locate the fault in the shortest possible time and arrange emergency repairs as soon as possible, comprehensively improving the efficiency and benefit of distribution network operations and the quality of power supply services.

In the future, the distribution network dispatch center will also integrate professional command resources such as operation inspection, marketing, and dispatch to further enhance the professional level of the distribution network control in Baotou and build a new control system.
