Baotou school becomes BYD Auto's talent training base

Baotou Electrical Industrial Vocational School in Baotou, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, has become one of the 11 new energy vehicle (NEV) technical and skilled talent training bases of BYD Auto, a domestic NEV manufacturer, the company announced recently.

It is the only training base selected in the autonomous region.

The integration of production, education and school-enterprise cooperation are the keys to vocational education.

In 2019, BYD Auto and Inwinic Technology (Shenzhen) Co jointly applied for the BYD New Energy Vehicle Technical and Skilled Talent Training Base Joint Construction Project. The project is among the first batch of vocational education school-enterprise cooperation projects shortlisted by the Ministry of Education.

The project aims to cultivate technical talents based on BYD Auto's employment needs and standards, as well as providing colleges and universities with talent training, curriculum systems, curriculum resources, teacher training, training base construction, social services and other talent training services throughout the industry chain via a professional teaching R&D service team.

Baotou Electrical Industrial Vocational School is to promote project construction, teaching process management, project assessment, project rating and project acceptance with the executive team of the BYD New Energy Vehicle Technical and Skilled Talent Training Base Joint Construction Project, and actively promote the selection of new cooperative colleges and universities.
