Baotou accelerates entrepreneurship and innovation, with more bases added

Baotou, in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, has been making strides in boosting entrepreneurship and innovation, according to local media reports, with real progress made in recent years.
Currently, the city boasts a total of 25 mass entrepreneurship and innovation maker spaces at municipal level or above, plus 10 incubators and 95 entrepreneurial parks and entrepreneurial incubation bases.
More than 5,500 enterprises have settled in the entrepreneurial incubation base, which has helped 65,000 people find employment.
The number and scale of entrepreneurial incubation bases ranks Baotou at the forefront of the autonomous region.

As of the end of April, 29,600 more urban residents had found employment in the city. A total of 11,900 people achieved re-employment during the period. And a total of 5,358 people with chronic difficulties in finding employment were hired during the period.
Also, a number of key R&D and transformation projects have been implemented in the city. Projects including the development and industrialization of negative pressure ambulances have been included in the 100 Cities and 100 Parks action plan, a key national initiative jointly launched by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Finance.
