Baotou cooperates with UCAS in digital economy tech, AI
Baotou, in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, is set to cooperate with the Smart City Collaborative Innovation and Industry Alliance - a creation of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) - in the areas of digital economy technology and artificial intelligence (AI), following the signing of a strategic cooperation framework agreement on Oct 24, reports Baotou Daily.
According to the agreement, the two parties will carry out scientific and technological innovation research and jointly work on the industrial application of scientific and technological achievements.
The Inner Mongolia Digital Economy Technology Innovation Research Institute is to be set up in Baotou city to carry out applied research in the fields of urban construction, public transportation, community governance, vocational training, new infrastructure and 5G technology.
