Baotou zone eyes sci-tech innovation, allying with DHC Software

Baotou Rare Earth High-Tech Industrial Development Zone in Baotou, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, is to cooperate with DHC Software Co in fields including 5G technology, medical big data, and smart platform construction, following the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement on Oct 27, according to Baotou Daily.

The signing of the strategic cooperation agreement marks a key step in the high-quality development of the software industry in the high-tech zone.

The two parties will develop strategic partnerships and invest in the establishment of technological innovation companies with a total registered capital of between 300 ($44.82) and 500 million yuan in the high-tech zone.

DHC Software Co was established in January 2001 and was listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange on August 23, 2006, with a market value of about 40 billion yuan.

With the highest qualifications in the domestic information field, it is one of the largest high-tech software companies in China, with more than 1,400 independent intellectual property rights.

The company has a registered capital of 3.12 billion yuan, an annual sales revenue of more than 10 billion yuan, and nearly 10,000 employees, of which R&D personnel account for 80 percent.
