The fourth session of the 13th CPPCC Baotou Municipal Committee opened in Baotou, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Feb 21, according to local media reports.

A total of 307 CPPCC members were present at the opening ceremony, including Meng Fanli, secretary of the CPC Baotou municipal committee.

Chen Zhi, chairman of the CPPCC Baotou Municipal Committee, delivered the committee's annual work report, giving a brief overview of its achievements in 2020 and its plans for 2021.
