Guyang county and Hondlon district in Baotou, a city in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, have both been listed among the "Top 100 e-commerce counties in China", as part of a high-profile ranking compiled using big data, research programs, public feedback, and expert reviews.

Guyang county in the north part of Baotou ranks 61st on the list. In order to elevate its enterprises' sense of gain and increase its citizens' satisfaction, the county is committed to creating a beneficial business environment and discovering new growth points. Measures and policies have been rolled out to attract investment and ensure quality development. A total of 28 leaders at county level have been in charge of 30 major projects and 91 private enterprises, and are ready to offer assistance to companies whenever they run into business issues.

Hondlon district, described as Baotou's economic, cultural, educational and scientific center, ranks 94th on the list. Since 2020, the district has also been devoted to optimizing its local business environment by prioritizing enterprises' voices, market demands and the feelings of its citizens. The government has obtained experience in market access, governmental services and laws and regulations.
