A meeting was held in Baotou, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on April 21-22, with the aim of promoting the construction of major projects and driving the high-quality development of the autonomous region, reports Inner Mongolia Daily.

Meeting attendees first visited a series of enterprises, workshops, and project construction sites in Baotou, and inspected the construction of major projects such as Hongyuan New Materials, Jinli Permanent Magnetic Materials, and the Baotou Materials Research Institute of Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

The attendees gained a detailed understanding of the companies' technological innovations and industrial upgrade work.

At the meeting, officials from leagues and cities across the autonomous region reported on the progress of major projects in 2021 via video link.
