Baotou city in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region is to host an investment promotion event in East China's Shanghai on May 6, according to local media reports.

The half-day event will be held at the Oriental Riverside Hotel, in the Shanghai International Convention Center.

The event will have some 300 attendees – including company and business representatives, staff members from domestic universities and scientific research institutions, as well as members of various chambers of commerce.
