The first session of the 14th CPPCC Baotou Municipal Committee opened on Feb 11 in Baotou city, located in North China's Inner Mongolia, according to local media reports.

A total of 322 CPPCC members were present at the opening ceremony, including Meng Fanli, secretary of the CPC Baotou municipal committee.

Yang Limin delivered the committee's annual work report, giving a brief overview of its achievements in 2021 and its plans for 2022.
