Four companies based in Baotou city – located in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region – were recently included on the 2021 Intelligent Manufacturing Demonstration Pilot Project list, announced by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

The four companies are Baotou Aluminum Group, Inner Mongolia Baogang Steel Union Co, Inner Mongolia North Heavy Industries Group and Baotou Inst Magnetics New Material Co.

A total of nine enterprises in the autonomous region made it onto the list.

Of these, five are intelligent manufacturing demonstration factories and four are excellent application scenarios for intelligent manufacturing.
