The city of Baotou allocated 15.76 million yuan ($2.49 million) in living subsidies for the disabled and nursing subsidies for the severely disabled. The number of beneficiaries was 30,500.

This includes a living subsidy of 4.81 million yuan for the disabled – providing disable people with a minimum living allowance 1,200 yuan per person per year.

The nursing subsidy for the severely disabled – whose disability level is rated as first or second – is 10.95 million yuan. The subsidy standard is 1,200 yuan per person per year.

The use and management of subsidy funds adhere to the principles of fairness and transparency, and they will be allocated according to the guaranteed number of persons who meet the prescribed conditions and sharing ratio.

Baotou issued the subsidies through financial subsidy fund cards, social security cards and other channels.
