It has been revealed that the new energy heavy truck orders of Beiben Truck Group Co attained 1,343 units in the first quarter.
The Baotou municipal government gathered people from eight regions and 11 enterprises to hold a coordination meeting for new energy planning work on March 11. The central goal of the meeting was to discuss how to sell 10,000 Beiben heavy trucks this year.
Baotou focused on market demand and responded to corporate concerns, as client demand has changed from implicit to explicit. Various government departments paved the way for the sale of new energy heavy trucks by deploying battery-changing stations and charging piles, adding hydrogen refueling stations, and seeking financial support from superiors.
Relevant staff members of China Huadian Inner Mongolia Energy Co – which purchased 300 heavy trucks – calculated an "ecological account". As the first enterprise in the city to support the "distribution to collection + new energy" model, its new energy vehicle transportation mileage was 86,400 kilometers after one year of trial operations, reducing total carbon emissions by 137 metric tons.
Beiben hopes to produce all 839 heavy-duty trucks in March, with a total of 414 more units sold in the first quarter of this year than last year. With the government's help, strong market demand, and policy guidance, the group is confident in the future development of the new energy industry.
