Baotou Airport to add summer season routes, flights
Baotou Airport plans to add or increase flights to Chengdu, Chongqing, Haikou, Hefei and other cities starting March 27 – in order to create a first-class business environment and meet the travel needs of the general public.
The airport – located in Baotou city in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region – plans to continue to optimize its route structure and flight schedule.
That's to ensure the efficiency of routes and flights to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Chongqing and other destinations. The goal is to generate closer commercial, trade and tourism exchanges with Baotou.
The airport has also coordinated with the airlines to deploy a number of on-site aircraft – optimizing flight schedules to Guangzhou, Chongqing, Zhengzhou, Nanjing, Chifeng and other cities – to better meet the needs of passengers.
Moreover, the types of aircraft assigned to flights for high-demand destinations, such as Chengdu and Chongqing, have been adjusted to improve the comfort of travelers.
In addition, flight schedules have been modified to varying degrees, reflecting the change of season. Baotou Airport is reminding passengers to pay attention to the specific flight departure and landing times when purchasing tickets, so as not to delay the flight.
