Three leading companies to settle in Baotou city
The signing ceremony for three leading companies that are moving into the Keyuan Building in Baotou city – located in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region – recently took place.
The companies are the Northwest Branch of CONSULTEC City Investment and Design Co, the Northwest Office of the Eighth Engineering Bureau – a subsidiary of China City Investment Group Co – and the Inner Mongolia Regional Marketing Center of the No 6 Engineering Co, a unit of CCCC First Highway Engineering Group Co.
CONSULTEC City Investment and Design Co is a State-owned mixed-ownership enterprise under the Ministry of Finance.
The Eighth Engineering Bureau is a contractor that undertakes major general construction projects and municipal public work. It has 15 professional first-level and three second-level industry qualifications and has significant annual construction capacity.
CCCC First Highway Engineering Group Co is a Fortune 500 company and No 6 Engineering Co, as its subsidiary, has undertaken projects in more than 20 regions across the country. In addition, it has taken home many industry honors, such as the Luban Prize for Construction Projects – in this case, an honorable mention for highest engineering quality in the China construction industry.
The establishment of these branches in Baotou is expected to be conducive to introducing more high-tech and management concepts in the construction and development of railways, tunnels, bridges, highways and other infrastructure in Inner Mongolia and even the northwestern region of China.
