The 2022 Baotou City and Baogang Group Staff Member Vocational Skills Competition was recently launched by Baogang Group.

That same day, awards were given to the winners and coaches of the seventh National Staff Vocational Skills Competition in 2021.

To build a team of high-quality skilled talent that meet the high-quality development needs of the industry, labor unions at all levels in Baotou have in recent years carried out a variety of labor and skills competitions.

It has been reported that this year, Baotou will carry out two demonstration leading labor and skills competition projects throughout the region and host six vocational skills competitions for employees in the autonomous region.

It will also hold 45 types of occupational skills competitions for employees in the city, encouraging more than 6,000 units and more than 210,000 employees in the city to participate.

In addition, Baotou will strive to achieve full coverage of skill competitions for general jobs, special jobs, and jobs in high demand within the next three years.

In order to motivate employees to improve their skills, the city has increased incentives for the competition and awarded eight outstanding units and 30 outstanding individuals the Baotou May Day Labor Medal.
