An exhibition by photographers Ren Jun and Wang Ru – called Man and Nature – was opened recently in Baotou city, in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
The exhibition, which is being sponsored by the Baotou City Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the publicity department of the Qingshan District CPC Committee, is being held at the Dongdashan Art Zone Art Museum.
It showcases more than 60 themed works by the photographers, most of which involve the harmonious relationship between man and nature.
The photographers said the works express the eco-friendly consciousness of "understanding and caring for nature" and the "harmonious coexistence between man and nature".
Ren has been photographing wild animals for many years.
"Most of the birds and wild animals I photograph are within the range of Baotou city," Ren said. "I started to shoot photos as a hobby and paid more attention to the beauty of the gestures of the wild animals," Ren said.
Ren called on more people to participate in protecting the environment and protecting wild animals, so as to contribute to the eco-friendly development of Baotou.
