During the Q&A session at the launch ceremony of the "Baotou Agriculture and Animal Husbandry" app held in Hondlon district, Baotou, on June 27, farmers and herdsmen asked many questions.

"Which module can we use to upload, publicize and display information on agricultural and animal husbandry products by ourselves?" a farmer asked, to which the answer is the village market module.

The app was jointly developed by the organization department of the municipal Party committee, the publicity department of the municipal Party committee, and the municipal agriculture and animal husbandry bureau. It is presented in the form of audio, video and pictures and consists of 12 modules for agricultural and animal husbandry policies, technical guidance and rural markets, and five convenient service modules such as release, loudspeaker and one-card query.

This is the first professional platform in the city to provide farmers and herdsmen with comprehensive information services on policies, production, operation, lifestyle, planting and breeding techniques, and epidemic prevention and control.

"This app is very helpful for production and life in general," said Sun Jinzhi, a resident of Wulanjisan village, at the launch ceremony.

According to Zhao Yu, a member of the organization department of the municipal Party committee, Baotou will follow up on the promotion and application of the app in a timely manner and transmit useful information to farmers and herdsmen.
