The second Modern Energy Industry Development Conference with the tagline "sharing green ecology and building a low-carbon and high-quality development system" will be held in Baotou, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on July 24.
The conference aims to accelerate the development of the modern energy industry and the construction of low-carbon cities. Representatives of national ministries, Inner Mongolia, scientific research institutes, and modern energy enterprises will gather in Baotou to discuss important topics such as carbon neutrality and peaking carbon emissions and opportunities for the modern energy industry through roundtable dialogues and online TED sharing.
It has been reported that the unveiling ceremony of the "China Renewable Energy Society Scientific and Technological Achievements Transfer and Transformation (Baotou) Educational Practice Base", "Inner Mongolia Smart Logistics Carbon Neutral Technology Innovation Research Institute" and "Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Carbon Neutral Collaborative Innovation Center" will also be held at the conference.
Agreements for a large number of important modern energy industry projects will be signed on site and mainstream media and social platforms in more than 30 central provinces and cities across the country will be broadcast live simultaneously.
It has been reported that Baotou is currently speeding up the construction of a pioneering model city driven by the modern energy industry and "peaking carbon emissions and carbon neutrality", introducing high-quality enterprises and projects, and improving industrial chains.
