Smart logistics carbon neutral research institute established in Baotou
The Inner Mongolia Smart Logistics Carbon Neutral Technology Innovation Research Institute was unveiled in Baotou on July 24, making it the first such scientific research institution in China to officially be established in Inner Mongolia.
The institute was co-founded by G7 IoT, SPIC, Beiben Trucks Group Co, China Huadian Co, Wanchuang Group, Suzhou Lvkon Transmission Technology Co, Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the Inner Mongolia Research Institute.
The institute will promote the realization of the "dual carbon" goal in the autonomous region, accurately position the role of the chief planner of the "logistics + new energy" industrial chain, and promote the green development of transportation and the whole-chain development of "wind-solar hydrogen storage vehicles" in the new energy industry.
The institute will also carry out research projects with the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Ecology and the Environment, and the China Beijing Green Exchange to form a nationally representative carbon reduction demonstration project.
Moving forward, the institute will cooperate with industry, academia and research to build a "logistics + energy and carbon data" platform and help boost ecological civilization construction and the high-quality development of Inner Mongolia.
