Beiben Truck Group in Baotou held a launch ceremony for the sub-brand "Beiben Benma" at its R&D center. Representatives of 44 enterprises and more than 20 media representatives witnessed Beiben's new-generation trunk line logistics vehicles.
"Benma" in Chinese means a galloping horse on a grassland, which suits the horse culture in Baotou. The truck's cab is spacious and the seats and sleeper are comfortable.
Zhang Wenyan, professional chief engineer of the civil product development vehicle office of Beiben's R&D Center, said that the truck was designed by a European design company.
"This truck is like a big mobile phone," said Zhou Yawei, director of Beiben and chief scientist of China North Industries Group Co. Whether the truck goes to the city or the countryside, it can connect with the system at any time and connect with other trucks in the background.
In addition, the comprehensive upgrading of the chassis electronic architecture has helped prepare for unmanned driving, meaning that Beiben's heavy trucks have achieved the leap from the era of mechanization to digitalization.
Beiben is focusing on making its heavy trucks green, intelligent, shared and high-end.
