Updated: 2022-08-23

This year, the State and Inner Mongolia autonomous region have successively introduced subsidy policies to help enterprises seriously affected by the COVID-19 stabilize jobs and retain employees.

It has been reported that for all enterprises and six types of entities – namely social groups, foundations, social service agencies, law firms, accounting firms, and individual industrial and commercial households participating in the insurance – that are temporarily unable to produce and operate normally, Baotou will insure on a per-insurance basis with a standard subsidy of 500 yuan ($73) for employees.

A one-time training subsidy of 117 million yuan has already been issued, benefiting 9,043 insured enterprises and social groups and 234,600 insured employees.

Enterprises do not need to apply, and relevant departments will judge and compare the nature of the insured enterprises and social groups, payment ledgers, and the number of people insured with unemployment insurance through data comparison. Subsidies will be issued to enterprises directly after publicity and examination.

In addition, enterprises that have received subsidies can also benefit from policies related to unemployment insurance stabilization and the postponing of unemployment insurance premiums.
