The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, All-China Federation of Trade Unions and other State-level units on Aug 30 jointly announced the list of national demonstration enterprises and industrial parks for the establishment of harmonious labor relations, with Baotou Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region making the list.

The park is located in Qingshan district, Baotou. In December 2018, Qingshan was identified by the autonomous region as the city's only "comprehensive pilot area for building harmonious labor relations". The area created and carried out eight major work measures and explored practices in labor relations governance.

The mass influx of entrepreneurship and innovation in Qingshan district has led to an employment multiplier effect, and the employment situation is currently stable. Additionally, the district has focused on services, improved the quality of social security, and implemented a universal insurance plan.

Qingshan currently has five such State-level and autonomous region-level model harmonious labor relations units and one autonomous region-level industrial park.

The continuous emergence of local harmonious enterprises has created a strong demonstration and driving effect, promoting harmonious and stable labor relations as well as the sustainable and healthy development of enterprises.
