The national orchestra Yellow River Walks through the Grassland produced by the Baotou municipal bureau of culture and tourism was recently selected as the representative work of Inner Mongolia autonomous region and presented on the "Overseas China Tourism Culture Week in 2022" platform.

This event focuses on the five major themes of intangible cultural heritage and poverty alleviation, rural vitalization, urban construction, Yellow River culture, and culture and tourism of the Silk Road. Online and offline activities such as special exhibitions, video exhibitions, seminars and exchanges were held during the event for the overseas public.

Yellow River Walks through the Grassland was composed by the national orchestra of the Baotou City Art Theatre. It was funded by the national art fund and was selected as the "Excellent Repertoire of Stage Art in Nine Provinces and Autonomous Regions of the Yellow River Basin" by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. The whole play is mainly performed with national orchestral instruments and adopts the music and style of symphonic sound and screen setting.

The Bucharest Chinese Cultural Center highly praised the work, saying that it was beautifully produced with outstanding themes and rich content. The program was also listed as an important part of the "2022 Overseas Chinese Tourism and Culture Week" and is the main display project of the 2022 Mid-Autumn Festival at the center.
