China North Rare Earth (Group) High-Tech Co in Baotou was recently placed on the list of the "2022 National Technological Innovation Demonstration Enterprises" to be recognized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

It is reported that the enterprise was founded in 1961 and listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in September 1997, becoming the first listed and leading rare earth company in China and the largest rare earth industry base in China and even the world.

After more than 60 years of development, the enterprise has more than 40 holding and shareholding companies, which are distributed in 10 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions across the country. It has gradually built a complete industrial chain from rare earth beneficiation, smelting and deep processing to terminal applications.

Since the beginning of this year, the Baotou bureau of industry and information technology has guided and supported enterprises to enhance their technological innovation capabilities and core competitiveness, and enhanced the technological support capabilities of the city's industrial transformation and upgrading and high-quality development.

This enterprise has entered the list of national technological innovation demonstration enterprises to be recognized, which has contributed to the improvement of the technological innovation capabilities of enterprises in Baotou and the high-quality development of the industrial economy.
