To allow tourists and residents to spend a happy National Day holiday and stimulate Baotou cultural tourism consumption, starting from Sept 27, Baotou will distribute a red envelope subsidy of 100,000 yuan ($13,895) through the "One-click Tour Baotou (一键游包头)" WeChat applet.

This red envelope subsidy will benefit tourists in all aspects of travel. The red envelopes received by tourists can be used to pay for hotels, train tickets and scenic spot tickets in the applet during the National Day holiday on Oct 1-7.

The applet is a comprehensive digital service platform for smart culture and tourism created by the Baotou bureau of culture and tourism.

The WeChat applet offers tourists one-stop services for tours, reservations, transportation, food, accommodation, shopping, and entertainment. People can also inquire about the weather of Baotou.
