The second political and business discussion breakfast meeting in Baotou was held on Sept 28. The secretary of the municipal Party committee, the mayor, and other leaders and 14 entrepreneurs attended and jointly made plans for high-quality development.

It has been reported that the municipal Party committee recently issued the "Work Plan on Establishing the 'Political and Business Discussion Breakfast Meeting'", which clarified the time and scope of invitations for the breakfast meetings, leading the continuous improvement of the business environment.

The invited entrepreneurs are involved in new energy, equipment manufacturing, new materials, construction and other fields. The companies they belong to include State-owned enterprises such as Inner Mongolia North Heavy Industries Group Co, as well as members of leading private enterprises such as Inst Magnetics Co.

"Can the construction of power facilities such as substations be accelerated?" "Can project construction land be planned a little earlier?" "Can the delivery of commissioned factories be accelerated?" "Can the policy be implemented in more ways?" In response to these entrepreneurs' questions, leaders of the Baotou government clarified the subject of responsibility, standards and time limits.

"The form of the breakfast meeting is very good, and it is a very efficient way to solve problems faced by enterprises. I hope it will continue being held," said Xu Yongfeng, chairman of China Second Metallurgical Group Co, at the breakfast meeting.
