A national video and telephone conference for the exchange of demonstration experiences in the establishment of harmonious labor relations was recently held in Beijing. At the meeting, Baotou Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park was named "National Model Industrial Park for the Establishment of Harmonious Labor Relations", becoming the only park so-named in Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

In recent years, Baotou has built harmonious and stable labor relationships, and has identified 303 harmonious labor relations units.

Since the beginning of this year, the city has issued 125 million yuan ($17.55 million) of return funds for stabilizing jobs to 8,025 enterprises, and 117 million yuan of one-time training subsidies for 9,043 enterprises, benefiting 230,000 employees.

Up to now, all enterprises in the industrial park have completed the signing and renewal of collective contracts and collective wage negotiation contracts. The signing rate of collective contracts and collective wage negotiation reached 100 percent, and the employee satisfaction rate for contract performance reached over 97 percent.
