2 new energy storage projects in Baotou selected by Inner Mongolia
North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region decided to implement five 2022 new energy network load storage integration projects a few days ago, two of which are in Baotou.
The scale of new energy allocated for the five projects is 3.51 million kilowatts, including 1.61 million kilowatts of photovoltaic power and 1.9 million kilowatts of wind power, storing 0.82 million kilowatts of new energy.
The number of new projects and the total amount of new energy added in Baotou rank first in the autonomous region, with PV power accounting for more than 68 percent of the total.
One of the projects belongs to TBEA Baotou Electric Co in the Tumd Right Banner smart low-carbon park. The project will be able to produce 800,000 kilowatts of photovoltaic power and store 170,000 kilowatts, and has a utilization of 99 percent.
The other project, belonging to Baotou Dongfang Risheng Silicon Industry Co, is equipped with 705,000 kilowatts of wind power and 300,000 kilowatts of photovoltaic power, has power storage capacity of 275,000 kilowatts, and a new-energy utilization rate of 90 percent.
