Baotou promotes construction of agricultural, livestock brands
In recent years, the Baotou bureau of finance has attached great importance to the sustainable operation of regional public agricultural and livestock brands. In 2022, the bureau has raised 27.56 million yuan ($3.86 million) in funds to continue such work.
The city has held various agricultural and livestock brand recommendation activities.
This year, the 18th China Sheep Industry Development Conference and the ninth Inner Mongolia Green Agricultural and Livestock Products Expo, seventh Beef and Sheep Meat Industry Conference, first Baotou Preprepared Food Industry Conference on National High Quality Agricultural Development, Construction of Agricultural and Livestock Products Industry System Summit Forum, and other investment attraction activities were held in Baotou.
In order to cultivate regional brands centering on geographical indication agricultural products, Baotou has also focused on the promotion of regional brands this year, such as grassland sheep in Darhan Muminggan Joint Banner.
At the same time, relying on consumption promotion activities such as the preprepared vegetable industry promotion conference, the city has built e-commerce zones and market counters and developed production and marketing docking models to build regional brands.
