The 2022 China Internet Conference and Digital Government Forum sponsored by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology was recently held in Shenzhen, South China's Guangdong province. The so-called "Baotou accelerates construction of digital government with the 1+1+N model" case was ranked among the top 15 national digital government demonstration cases at the forum.

The first "1" refers to the Baotou Digital Government Construction Action Plan (2021-2023), while the second "1" refers to the Measures of Baotou City for the Evaluation of Digital Government Construction in 2022 and "N" refers to the 78 key tasks and 24 key projects identified this year, which will continue to expand the digital service field and service projects, and create more government digital management service application scenarios.

Since 2021, the Baotou municipal Party committee and municipal government have attached great importance to the construction of digital government, and a deputy mayor of the government has been designated to oversee the work.

In addition, the city has made strong efforts to promote the construction of digital government using the "1+1+N" model, as well as build a digital government public service benchmark area, government governance innovation application demonstration area, and public data circulation exploration pilot area.
