The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently released a new version of the list of 100 key textile and clothing brands. Inner Mongolia King Deer Cashmere Co in Baotou was listed, the only one in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region to make the cut.

The company was founded in 1985 and has won many honorary titles such as national enterprise technology center, industrial design center, and service-oriented manufacturing demonstration enterprise. The enterprise has also made outstanding contributions to the internationalization of advantageous industries with characteristics of ethnic groups in Inner Mongolia.

The Baotou bureau of industry and information technology has formulated an action plan to build a 10-billion-yuan-level ($1.42 billion) textile and clothing industry in the city.

Next, the bureau will promote customized services for key textile and garment enterprises to promote the high-quality development of the textile and garment industry in the city.
