North Joint Stock Co on list of top 50 machinery companies
At the Top 50 Summit of the Global Construction Machinery Industry held in Shanghai on Nov 21, Inner Mongolia North Heavy Industries Group North Joint Stock Co in Baotou was listed among the top 50 machinery companies in the world for the 10th year in a row thanks to its mining vehicle products.
Since 2012, the company has been promoting digital transformation and upgrading through the use of "internet+" and is committed to providing users with solutions for tramcars and mine transportation systems at a low cost.
Relying on scientific and technological innovation, the company has independently developed the first NTE260 tramcar in China with completely independent intellectual property rights, began producing the first 240-metric-ton tramcars in China, and has entered mass production.
In 2019, the first 110-ton NTE120AT driverless electric wheel mining vehicle in China successfully rolled off the company's production line, making China the third country in the world to achieve such a feat.
Additionally, in 2020, the company’s mining vehicles successfully entered the Australian and European markets. In March 2022, it also co-developed a 100-ton hydrogen fuel and lithium battery hybrid power mining dump truck with State Power Investment Corporation Limited Inner Mongolia Energy Co.
