Baogang Group publicized in blue book
Baogang Group was selected as an excellent case in China's first Blue Book on Social Responsibility in the Iron and Steel Industry, which was co-released by the China Iron and Steel Industry Association and CSR-Cloud Research Institute.
The blue book focuses on iron and steel enterprises, systematically analyzes the social responsibility situation requirements, practice progress, social responsibility management, and exploration in the industry. It also clarifies the direction and focus of future responsibility performance.
A series of excellent practice cases, including Baogang Group, are included in the blue book, providing valuable reference for iron and steel enterprises looking to shoulder greater social responsibility.
To date, Baogang Group has seven categories and 61 varieties of rare earth steel, the brand value of which has reached 20.84 billion yuan ($2.99 billion), ranking among the top 500 brands in China.
In 2021, the group became the first enterprise in Inner Mongolia autonomous region with a annual revenue of more than 100 billion yuan and profits of more than 10 billion yuan.
