Updated: 2022-12-26

Mongolian medicine is a valuable cultural heritage of the Mongolian ethnic group and an important part of traditional Chinese medicine. For thousands of years, Mongolian medicine has improved the health of people of all ethnic groups.

In the prevention and treatment of COVID-19, Wu Xide, president of the Baotou Mongolian Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, led several experts to formulate a diagnosis and treatment plan using Mongolian medicine, and developed four groups of Mongolian medicine groups for treatment.

The Mongolian medicine groups have been used at designated hospitals and cabin hospitals for the treatment of patients, leading to valuable clinical experience and achieving strong results. Mongolian medicine is able to improve overall resistance to disease among humans.

According to reports, the medicine groups carried out multiple synchronous clearance of the virus in the environment invaded by viral fever (such as lungs, blood plasma, pharynx, digestive tract), reducing the incubation period, survival rate, and transmissibility of the virus.
