In order to alleviate the burden on urban medical institutions and ensure the health needs of residents, Baotou allocated 6 million yuan ($874,358) in special funds for epidemic prevention health packages.

It is expected to distribute 100,000 packages to residents.

The epidemic prevention health package contains three-days-worth of drugs for antipyretic, analgesic, and cough, one thermometer, three antigen test kits, household medicine guidelines, as well as a consultation telephone list for primary medical and health institutions.

Key infection groups in designated hospitals, cabin hospitals and medical institutions will receive the packages.

In the new stage of epidemic prevention and control, Baotou has been putting the people first and focusing on solving urgent problems experienced by the general public.
