National ministries and commissions recently released the list of smart manufacturing demonstration factories in 2022. Among them was State-owned China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) North Nuclear Fuel Element Co in Baotou, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

In recent years, the company has made every effort to promote the construction of a smart nuclear fuel system and realize the transformation from "element manufacturing" to "intelligent manufacturing of elements".

It is reported that the company's production automation, equipment digitization and management intelligence have been accelerated, while fast reactor fuel element intelligent manufacturing management platform, created by CNNC, has been officially launched.
