Baotou in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region has made strong efforts to promote investment and saw strong performance in terms of the amount of money allocated in 2022. At the same time, the city has continuously optimized its business environment and improved its service capacity for enterprises and people.

The amount of allocated domestic funds in Inner Mongolia last year increased by 59.7 percent, led by Baotou, Ordos and Hohhot.

In terms of specific industrial investment, Baotou introduced 107 manufacturing projects and ranked first in terms of overall investment in Inner Mongolia, Chifeng introduced 117 agricultural and animal husbandry projects and ranked first in terms of investment attraction, while Hohhot introduced 185 service industry projects and ranked first in terms of industry investment.

Party and government leaders of cities in Inner Mongolia led teams to attract investment a total of 226 times, with Ulanqab, Ordos, Hohhot, Baotou and Wuhai all doing so more than 20 times.
