Sixteen projects were signed into effect in Qingshan district in Baotou in February, worth 16.63 billion yuan ($2.41 billion), while that same month at the construction site of 150,000 metric tons of high-purity industrial silicon and 100,000 tons of high-purity crystalline silicon projects constructed by Hongyuan Energy Technology (Baotou) Co, large machinery and workers installed equipment.
