Qingshan district attracts investment from Yantai

The Qingshan District Investment Promotion (Processing Trade) Conference was held in Yantai in East China's Shandong province on Feb 24. More than 80 people including representatives of private enterprises and chambers of commerce from Baotou, Shandong province and surrounding areas attended.

At the meeting, leaders of Qingshan district in Baotou, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, introduced the development process, industrial advantages, business environment and other aspects of the district.

Bai Yunxi, governor of Qingshan district, said that the district ranked 40th among the top 100 districts in West China in 2022 in terms of overall economy, and has a unique industrial processing capacity, industrial supporting capacity and industrial talent advantages.

Moving forward, Qingshan district will accelerate green transformation and development and build a green energy industrial cluster worth 100 billion yuan ($14.35 billion).

Yantai, as one of the three core areas of the Shandong comprehensive test area for new and old kinetic energy conversion, is highly compatible with Qingshan district in the fields of auto parts, intelligent equipment, high-end equipment, and new materials.

During the event, a symposium for entrepreneurs from Inner Mongolia and a symposium for heads of processing trade enterprises were also held. The participants also visited key enterprises in Yantai.
