Heavy truck chassis products made by Beiben Heavy Truck Group Co – based in Baotou city in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region – recently got a major international boost.

They were shown in the China Defence exhibition area at the International Defense Exhibition and Conference 2023 – which opened on Feb 20 in Abu Dhabi, capital of the United Arab Emirates – showcasing the excellence of Baotou manufacturing to the world.

One product of note was the Beiben 6×6 off-road chassis, equipped with a Tianlong 100 anti-aircraft missile system.

This chassis is said to have good off-road performance and large payload.

Due to its low vehicle height and small servicing needs, the product is said to be very suitable for delivery by transport aircraft, making it a star product in foreign trade that has been widely praised in the international market.

The exhibition in Abu Dhabi, held every two years, is one of the largest international defense exhibitions in the world with the largest number of exhibitors and reputedly with the strongest influence.

The latest iteration attracted more than 1,300 enterprises from more than 70 countries, bringing together the advanced defense equipment and technology of many world-class defense companies.
