Baotou is now making every effort to promote the construction of a modern energy equipment manufacturing base and build itself into the "world's green silicon capital".

At present, among the key photovoltaic manufacturing enterprises that have been put into operation in the city, Risen (Baotou) New Energy Co is playing a leading role.

With the production capacity of components and battery chips increasing, the city will seize market opportunities in West Inner Mongolia and the surrounding northwestern regions, increase the attraction of relevant supporting industries, and in the development of the silicon industry.
