Two enterprises based in Baotou were listed among the world's first-class specialized and new demonstration enterprises. They are Inner Mongolia North Heavy Truck Co and China North Rare Earth (Group) Hi-tech Co.

The State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council issued the list on March 16.

Seven local State-owned enterprises were listed among a group of new world-class demonstration enterprises, while 200 enterprises were included in the list of world-class specialized and new demonstration enterprises.
