The new sci-tech innovation park is located in the political, cultural, trade, science and education center of Hondlon district.
It is home to important bodies, including the College of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the International Talent Science and Innovation Center and the Institute of Digital Technology.
According to a spokesman, the park will aim to create an ecosystem for a "sci-tech service platform plus convenient government services" – to provide enterprises with sci-tech services across the entire supply chain.
By 2024, the park is expected to have more than 100 enterprises, six universities and research institutes, 30 sci-tech service organizations and will have an estimated 1,500 employees.
