Baotou's museum, park among regional bases
The first group of region-level intangible cultural heritage tourism experience bases was recently announced in North China's Inner Mongolia, and the Chilechuan Museum and Yellow River Ballad Cultural Park were selected.
Chilechuan Museum, a branch of the Inner Mongolia Museum with a total floor area of 25,000 square meters, is the only museum in the autonomous region with a focus on regional history and culture.
The museum has seven exhibition areas and a panoramic display of more than 3,800 representative cultural relics in the area from the Neolithic Age 5,000 years ago to the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911).
The Yellow River Ballad Cultural Park boasts the first private museum focusing on China's Yellow River culture, folk history and craftsman spirit.
In 2022, the park also built the largest red newspaper exhibition culture park in the autonomous region, covering more than 30 topics such as the War of Chinese People's Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, the evolution of Inner Mongolia, and Yellow River culture.
