Baotou Customs publicizes export policy
Baotou Customs recently handled the first RCEP origin certificate for exports to Indonesia.
Inner Mongolia North Heavy Industries Group Co exported heavy off-highway dump trucks to Indonesia with a value of 3.28 million dollars. According to the RCEP agreement, the importer is expected to enjoy tax incentives of about 1.12 million yuan ($162,568).
On Jan 2, the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) added the Special Export List to Indonesia for the first time and began offering RCEP origin certificates for the country.
"While expanding the scope of benefits for companies from RCEP member countries, it will also greatly boost export growth among Chinese companies. Baotou Customs will continue to strengthen the promotion of the preferential origin policy in order to enhance the international competitiveness of foreign trade exports," said Liu Furun, chief of General Business Section of Baotou Customs.
