The groundbreaking ceremony of Mingyang Group's National Blade Testing and Certification Center and Mingyang North Wisdom Comprehensive Park was held in Baotou on March 30.

This will help Baotou to build itself into a domestic and international new energy industry hub as well as cultivate a 100-billion-yuan-level ($14.56 billion) new energy high-end equipment industrial cluster.

The center will provide wind power blades as well as design, manufacturing, transportation, operation and other services.

The project will include the construction of four full-size blade test platforms which will be able to meet the test verification of 150m-class full-size blades. The center will not only meet the requirements of blade testing and certification in Mingyang, but also provide testing services to other projects in North China.

Additionally, Mingyang North Wisdom Comprehensive Park will provide comprehensive energy intelligent services for Mingyang New Energy Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park in Baotou, excavate clean energy replacement, and promote the green transformation of the park.
