The Baotou Olympic Sports Center hosted the opening of the Inner Mongolia autonomous region leg of the national children and youth fitness activity, as well as the Baotou children's sports activity, on May 28.

Several sports projects were performed at the opening ceremony, including Taekwondo, skipping rope, balancing bike, basketball, cheerleading, and martial arts.

In recent years, Baotou has promoted sports activities at kindergartens and schools and held several children's soccer and basketball competitions, forming a sports development environment where children thrive, parents support, and society widely recognizes.

This year's Baotou children's sports activity will be carried out in May and June, letting more children fall in love with and enjoy sports. The supporting education of children's sports skills will be provided for children in more than 100 kindergartens.

Baotou will take this activity as an opportunity to continuously improve the cultural environment and strengthen the investment in children's sports development in the city, promoting the city's high-quality children's sports development.
