Baotou seeks cooperation with Russia, Mongolia
A delegation of business representatives from Baotou recently attended the opening ceremony and related activities of the 16th China-Russia-Mongolia Economic Forum held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia from June 8 to 10.
During the seminar, the leader of the Baotou trade promotion association made a speech on investment opportunities, challenges, and cooperation prospects among the three countries.
The delegation expressed its willingness to expand cooperation in new energy, new materials, high-end equipment manufacturing, and railway logistics with its Russian and Mongolian counterparts, and welcomed them to invest in Baotou.
The China-Russia-Mongolia Economic Forum is a national-level platform initiated by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the Russian Federation of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, and the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
It has been successfully held for 15 consecutive years and has become an international mechanism for dialogue and exchange among the business communities of the three countries, and an important vehicle for promoting practical forms of cooperation.
